Possible Reasons for Premature Dulling
- Grit is too fine.
- Excessive sanding pressure.
- Belt is too stiff for application. It is recommended to request a more flexible product.
- Wrong product for application.
- Excessive belt speed.
- Contact roll not aggressive enough. (Greater groove-to-land ration needed)
- Excessive wheel speed (flapwheel or brush wheel).
